Description

Ghost is known to others as a young and eager person. Since his parents are rather wealthy, he hosts parties at his grandiose mansion often. Outside of that, Ghost is also an aspiring mage and hopes to master his magical abilities someday. But said magical abilities need a LOT of work.

Personality

Ghost is a very kind-hearted and eager individual. In most situations, he maintains an optimistic approach. Ghost is also loving and compassionate towards all kinds of life, willing to give everyone a chance. Since Ghost is so empathetic and open-minded, he has no trouble making friends at all. In fact, he probably considers most people he meets as his friend.

Not only is Ghost very energetic, but he's also a keen jokester. Seeing other people smile makes Ghost feel like he's had an impact on the world. Even though Ghost does like making people cheerful, he does also tend to overstep boundaries, both knowingly or unknowingly. At times he will also do things without others' permission. This is usually because Ghost makes impulsive decisions. Though he does not do it maliciously, Ghost is very dismissive of other people's boundaries.

Although Ghost has a happy-go-lucky nature, he is still very emotionally mature. He will lend his friends wisdom to help them understand themselves better. Even when he is oblivious or taking things at face value, he'll be able to take a step back and correct himself. Ghost trusts his friends a lot, and trusts them to make the right decisions. It takes a lot of mistakes for Ghost to reach his breaking point with others. Because of his high tolerance for other people, he takes other people's emotional wellbeing as his responsibility, even when it isn't.

When Ghost gets into any sort of battles, he opts to be a pacifist or battle defensively. But his magical abilities could use some work, since Ghost is fairly new to spellcasting. Because of Ghost being a newbie at magic, he will overestimate what his abilities can do, consequentially biting off more than he can chew. Even when Ghost overestimates his magical abilities in the heat of the moment, he'll afterwards doubt his ability to be any good at magic.

Often times, Ghost picks up new hobbies that go along with his interests or hyperfixations. There will be times that he only learns new hobbies because one of his favorite characters practices that hobby.

Background

Ghost has been living on Neptune since he was born. Undead Mummies are native to the Tycho Desert on Earth, but Ghost's family has been on Neptune for quite some time. For quite a few years, Ghost has been bothering Benzaiten to teach him magic. He heard how powerful of a mage Benzaiten is, and decided to take it upon himself to find them.

Relationships

Tammy

Tammy and Ghost's extroverted personalities were very magnetic towards each other from the beginning. They both have very positive attitudes and love being around others, so naturally the two became friends quickly. Ghost looks up to Tammy because she carries herself very confidently. Since Ghost sees Tammy as a cooler older teen, he doesn't really question what Tammy does.

Tammy is more than happy to take Ghost along with her and teach her what she knows. Because Ghost follows Tammy blindly, Tammy may not always realize she's been putting Ghost in harms way. She'll give him advice from time to time that is completely incorrect, even harmful, for the sake of giving him answer. Tammy would rather be able to help Ghost than admit she doesn't have any advice for him. Even if Tammy doesn't have any advice, Ghost will always appreciate that she's there to encourage him to hone his abilities to the best he can.

Bix

Ghost is very fond of Bix, even going as far to consider him his best friend. However, Bix is unsure whether they are best friends because of Ghost's large social circle. The two get along quite well and work together on various occasions. Ghost find's Bix's blunt humor very charming. On the other side, Bix is grateful that Ghost reaches out a lot, even though Bix is too shy to do the same.

Since Bix and Ghost have been friends for years, they share a lot of inside jokes. They both became friends because Ghost was around Benzaiten so often, trying to get them to teach him magic. The two met because they were in close proximity since Bix lives with Benzaiten. Ghost also tries to impress Bix often because he wants Bix to like him. This can lead to Ghost disguising his true feelings if he thinks Bix might not agree with him. In reality, Bix actually doesn't mind their different opinions and finds Ghost's alternative views enlightening.

Benzaiten

Ghost sees Benzaiten as an idol and a powerful sorcerer. Many people in Ice Burg remark on Benzaiten's magical talent, so naturally Ghost wanted to become their student. Once Ghost tracked down where they lived, he kept badgering Benzaiten to teach them powerful magic. Benzaiten, however, gets annoyed Ghost's constant requests to be taught magic. They think Ghost is a sweet kid, but they also believe Ghost needs to work on actually tapping into magic before Benzaiten can teach him anything.

Abilities

• Being born of pure magic, he naturally has better magic casting skills (but he’s still a noob)
• Mummies have more resistance to heat that most species, but they are not immune to it.
• Ghost enjoys making lots of crafts
• Ghost is also an artist, and he posts his art online.
• Additionally, Ghost is a proficient musician who can play many different instruments. His favorite instrument is the piano.

Trivia

• Canonically, Ghost is written to have ASD and ADHD. Please read here for how my characters are represented
• Out of his entire friend group, Ghost is the only one still actively attending school (which you can read about here)
• When Ghost has a lot of energy, such as during panic or excitement, he'll start repeating phrases a lot
• Ghost gets unreasonable attached to most of his possessions
